Easter Extravaganza Sale!

The Easter Bunny is hopping over to Scrap Happy on Thursday, April 5th with a few "special" eggs just in time for our Spring Sale! Each egg contains a paper with 10%, 20%, or 30% written on it. Scrap Happy's First Blog Challenge!

During my quest for just the right layout, I learned a bit about blog challenges and how much fun they can be. For anyone who doesn't know what a "challenge" is in terms of the scrapbooking world (and I don't claim to be an expert by a long shot) it is a weekly or monthly contest conducted by blogs all over the world that offers either a "recipe"--tools or materials you're expected to use to complete your project--or some sort of inspiration i.e. Roses Are Red, Violets Are Blue in this case.



Long story short, I've decided to use the above picture as inspiration for anyone who might be interested. Creativity is key here, not perfection, so I want to see what you can come up with. The only parameters for this first challenge is take a general idea (such as a birthday party, just as an example) and find a way to "embellish" it without using a single sticker. You may use buttons, ribbon, cloth, Magic Mesh, Flower Soft, die cuts...and the list goes on and on.

I'll pick the winner a week from this Friday (April 6th). As a gift for all of their hard work, our winner will receive a free black or maroon/red 12x12 album from our store!
